To the eye, the color is intense red almost black with violet highlights
On the nose it's black fruits that emerge, cherry, blackberry, blueberry, then woody and spicy notes
On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity and harmonious finishing with silky tannins.
More accessible than the first wine Château Grand Puy Lacoste, it will be ready to drink sooner. It is nonetheless a Pauillac composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2020 vintage blend consists of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc.
The 12bottle tip : This bottle is best forgotten for a few years in your cellar, as time will improve it! If you feel like tasting it, decant the bottle at least 2 hours before serving. It's the perfect accompaniment to red meats and cheeses.
