Champagne Jacquesson
- Champagne -
In 1974, the Chiquet family bought the Jacquesson house and set up in Dizy. It owns a vineyard of about thirty hectares located in Avize, Aÿ, Dizy and Hautvilliers. It produces champagnes with a strong personality, thanks to parcel-based vintages. The wines are aged in oak barrels, with a very low dosage. Despite the success, volumes did not increase, on the contrary; the house refocused on cuvées with strong personality, made from parcel vines, and today the house is one of the most appreciated by wine lovers. Cuvée 744 (the number changes every year, with each new harvest serving as the basis for the blend) develops powerful, tonic and saline notes. While the vintage cuvées (Corne Bautray, Vauzelle Terme, Champ Caïn) develop complex, deep aromas and a silky touch.
