The domains BRET BROTHERS & La Soufrandière are great Burgundy wines qualified as Bourgogne Haut couture by amateurs and professionals.
The La Soufrandière estate is located in Vinzelles, in the south of Burgundy in the Mâconnais, and covers 4 ha of Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Quarts", 0.55 ha of Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Longeays" and 1 ha of Mâcon-Vinzelles "Le Clos de Grand-Père".
All the vines aged 33 to 80 and over are beautifully located, East, South-East, in the middle and top of the hill, made of very red clay and so-called “entroques” limestone, dating back over 180 million d 'years.
Since 2016 La Soufrandière has been exploiting an additional 5 ha, already certified organic. La Soufrandière can, since the 2016 harvest, offer you Saint-Véran "La Bonnode" (3.5 ha), Pouilly-Fuissé "Les Chatenays" (0.70 ha) on Vergisson, Pouilly-Fuissé "Les Vigneraies »(0.50 ha) on the side of the Roche de Solutré, and even a little Aligoté (0.30 ha).
Les Bret Brothers is a micro wine merchant created in early August 2001, with the aim of developing very great local wines, mainly from the Mâconnais region, in southern Burgundy.
This admittedly ambitious objective implies rigorous specifications, namely:
the selection of micro-plots of old vines worked by passionate winemakers, on very specific terroirs; the purchase of grapes exclusively on the vine (100% of the grapes purchased are certified organic or in conversion); the manual harvest of ripe grapes carried out by our team; vinification 100% in indigenous yeasts; aging and bottling by us;
The domains produce wonderful cuvées on sublime Burgundy terroirs.
