Even if Pomerol does not exist in official classification, the appellation is home to some of the most famous properties of the Bordeaux region: Pétrus, Château le Pin or Vieux Château Certan. part of this unofficial ranking. The Merlot grape is predominant in Pomerol, some for 100%. The wines of Pomerol are dense, elegant wines, with powerful complex notes of red fruit (blueberries) and leather.
