Charmes-Chambertin is a Grand Cru appellation from the Côte de Nuits, in Côte-d´Or (AOC) and which produces exclusively red wines, of the Pinot Noir variety. In general, their color is lively, ranging from dark ruby to black cherry. The wines mainly suggest aromas of red fruits such as raspberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant but also more peppery and spicy notes. Their diversity means that the wines also evoke aromas of violet, rose or even undergrowth. On the palate, it is power, elegance but also opulence that come to mind, wines full of structure and complexity ... A profile cut for aging.
