Cornas

Cornas is an appellation from the Rhone Valley. the vineyards of the appellation are on the eastern slope of the central massif and on the commune of Cornas. These are very steep slopes that naturally build an amphitheater conducive to the development of vines. The appellation is also the first to harvest in the Rhône region. Cornas produces only red wines on a surface area of 145 hectares.

The AOC is a varietal, the only one being Syrah. The wines of the appellation are therefore powerful, they have a very dark red color, drawing towards the black. It changes colors according to the purplish age in its youth it becomes amber as it gets older. It counts among the most robust wines of France, have a huge potential of guard which will allow them to develop all their aromas of black fruits and licorice.
