Acquired in 1990 by Baron Eric de Rothschild, Château L’Evangile is a vineyard of 16 hectares located on the plateau of Pomerol between Pétrus and Cheval Blanc. Remained for over a century in the Ducasse family, this estate is committed to combining the traditions and modern methods to perfect this highly coveted wine. The grape variety is largely made up of merlot and the rest of cabernet franc. The wines of Château L’Evangile are full, elegant wines with an incomparable bouquet and finesse.
