Champagne Deutz: Excellence and Heritage from Aÿ

Located in the prestigious village of Aÿ in the Champagne region, Champagne Deutz has been producing elegant and refined champagnes since 1838. Founded by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, the house flourished internationally. Now owned by the Rouzaud family, also stakeholders in Louis Roederer, Deutz manages a 350-hectare vineyard under sustainable practices.

Nestled between the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley, the vines grow in chalk, gravel, and clay soils. The grape varieties include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, all hand-harvested. Traditional vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by long aging in deep chalk cellars, up to 30 meters underground.

Deutz crafts outstanding cuvées like the balanced and floral Brut Classic and the expressive Rosé. Other notable creations include the pure Blanc de Blancs, the romantic Amour de Deutz, and the prestigious Cuvée William Deutz.

Through meticulous work in both vineyard and cellar, Champagne Deutz upholds a refined and timeless style, making it a symbol of Champagne excellence.
