The Domaine Chèze is a family estate taken over by Louis Chèze in 1978.
The estate is located at the top of the hill in the commune of Lémony, on the right bank of the Rhône, 60 kilometres south of Lyon, in the centre of the Northern Rhône vineyards. The Chèze family began their adventure with 1 hectare of Saint Saint Joseph and a few rental vines. Today, the estate name occupies 35 hectares under famous appellations such as Condrieu, Saint Joseph and a few Vins de Pays.
When monitoring the vineyards and vinification, Louis Cheze's determination, curiosity and meticulousness are crucial. Each year is interrogated to get the essence of the terroir. Numerous cuvées will delight the epicureans in you, Saxoleum, Cuvée des Anges and Cuvée Ro-Ree.
The vineyards are managed using sensible viticultural techniques, with respect for the grapes as the top priority. Domaine Chèze cultivates vineyards according to the characteristics of each plot. If the slope allows, the vineyards are either shaped or adapted to the hills.
