Château Troplong Mondot is a first Grand Cru Classé B of Saint Emilion of 33 hestares overlooking the village of Saint Emilion. Owned by the Valette family for four generations, Christine Valette and her husband Xavier Parienté have made this property one of the jewels of the appellation. Since the disappearance of Christine is now Xavier who runs the field. Château Troplong Mondot has always been a nugget of Saint Emilion not only for its wine, but also for its image turned to art and now to the public with its quality guest house. The wines produced at Château Troplong Mondot are deep and concentrated, the perfect combination of elegance and the power of the terroir. These are wines of guard which deserve to wait a decade before blooming. While waiting for the second wine of the Château, Mondot and a perfect expression to taste younger.
