In 20 years, Bibi Graetz has become one of the most iconic producers in Tuscany. Its wines have become in 20 vintages essential references for all lovers of great wines.

The Bibi Graetz estate is located on the Fielose parcel, above Florence, where Bibi grew up in an Artist family. Falling in love with wine, he decided to dedicate his life to it. The winegrower of the famous Testamatta has not received any wine training, he designs his wines as he feels without setting any limits, like an artist who creates his work. He frees himself from the codes of his region and the obligations of the DOC and DOCG of Tuscany, in particular by not using the Chianti grape variety king on these lands.

Testamatta, the estate's signature cuvée, 100% Sangiovese is produced in a unique way, on two hectares of vines cultivated like a garden. The Vigneron for his production favors very old vines and works with other handpicked winegrowers to exploit the fruit of loan from 50 hectares of vines. Bbii Graetz is fascinated by old vines, by their finesse, by the elegance and purity of the fruit they are capable of producing. To date, the company has one of the largest collections of old vines in all of Tuscany.

Colore is the estate's other great red wine made from a blend of 3 grape varieties in equal quantities: 1/3 Sangiovese, 1/3 Canaiolo, 1/3 Colorino. The vines are all over 60 years old and give rise to impressive wines of balance and precision.

Beyond the grape varieties, Bibi Graetz revolutionizes the codes of the Tuscan DOC, with a unique vision in the creation of its cuvées: its Testamatta cuvée for example is entirely fermented in small open barrels. 6 to 8 trappings and daily pumping over are necessary to achieve the final result.

An artist at heart, Bibi Graetz himself designs the works of art that serve as labels for his wines. A unique Super Tuscan recognized today as one of the greatest wines in the world. The 2019 vintage, the estate's 20th anniversary, is aged in the Aurora cellar, located in the house of Bibi Graetz in the main square of Fiesole overlooking Florence
