Since 1997, Alain Vauthier and his daughter Pauline (since 2005) have meticulously overseen the estate. Their approach combines traditional methods with precision: hand harvesting, strict grape selection, fermentation in small tanks, and aging in oak barrels, with only 85% new wood to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The result is a wine of great purity, structure, and depth — one that matures magnificently over decades.
Producing just 15,000 to 18,000 bottles annually, Château Ausone is one of the most exclusive wines in the world. Available at 12bouteilles, it is a benchmark for collectors and discerning wine lovers seeking the best that Bordeaux has to offer.
Château Ausone captivates with its aromatic richness — ripe black fruit, floral touches of violet, notes of licorice and exotic spices.
