Founded in the 16th century, Château de Beaucastel is located in the Rhône Valley. In 1909, Pierre Tramier took over the estate and passed it on to his son-in-law Pierre Perrin and his son Jacques who gave this wonderful wine its letters of nobility. Helped by the fifth generation, who work today at their side. Beaucastel is above all a family story, the Perrin family, whose strength lies in knowing how to combine the talents of each of them to bring their vineyards to life under the aegis of common values: absolute respect for the land and the soil, biodynamic viticulture as a philosophy of life, the search for truth, balance and elegance. The vineyard extends over no less than 100 hectares with 3/4 in the Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe appellation and 1/4 in the Côtes du Rhône. There are 13 grape varieties: Mourvedre, Greanche, Syrah, Cinsault, Vaccarese, Counoise, Terret Noir, Muscardin, CLairette, Picpoul, Picardan, Bourboulenc and Roussanne.
