A legendary estate rooted in strength and heritage

Bodega Numanthia is a benchmark winery located in Spain’s Toro region, known for producing wines of intense character and elegance. Named after the ancient city of Numancia, whose heroic resistance against Rome has become legendary, the estate embodies the same resilience through its meticulous viticulture and winemaking practices.

Founded in 1998, the estate cultivates some of Spain’s oldest ungrafted vines—many over 120 years old—on dry, stony soils and under a continental climate marked by extreme temperatures. At the heart of its identity lies the Tinta de Toro grape, a local and resilient clone of Tempranillo.
