Founded in 1998, Bodega Numanthia, located in Valdefinjas, Castilla y León, in northwestern Spain, is a true emblem of the wines of the Toro region. In a region with longstanding traditions in winemaking and viticulture, the wines of Toro are a testimony to the history of a region. Bodega Numanthia's estate covers 83 hectares. The vines of Bodega Numanthia are not only unique for their natural disposition, they are also unique for their age: 40% are over 70 years old, and an exceptional 4.8-hectare plot of Teso de los Carriles includes a few vines over 140 years old! In particular, the intense fruit aromas that are so particular to the Tinta de Toro grape variety, with the elegance and structure typical of this appellation. While this approach is common to the three wines made on the estate, each of them (the Termes, Numanthia and Termanthia) has its own particular style and profile, sometimes rich and fruity, sometimes intense and powerful, but always elegant and refined.
