Domaine Gueguen: Elegance and Terroir from Chablis and Burgundy

A family-run estate rooted in Burgundy’s finest soils

Founded in 2013, Domaine Céline and Frédéric Gueguen has quickly risen to prominence among the producers of Chablis and Burgundy wines. Combining deep family heritage with a modern, eco-conscious approach, the estate manages 25 hectares of meticulously cultivated vines. Focused on the region’s iconic grapes—Chardonnay for white wines and Pinot Noir for reds—the domaine crafts wines that reflect the precision, purity, and elegance of their terroir.

The vines thrive on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, typical of the Chablis region, contributing freshness, salinity, and structure to the wines. Sustainable vineyard practices and manual harvesting ensure minimal impact on the environment and optimal grape quality. Fermentations take place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, with selective oak aging on certain cuvées to enhance complexity without overshadowing the varietal character.

Driven by passion and attention to detail, Céline and Frédéric oversee the entire winemaking process, from vine to bottle. Their commitment to low-intervention methods allows the wines to express the soul of their origin while preserving freshness and aromatic clarity.

Signature wines of depth and distinction

The estate’s Chablis is a standout—crisp, vibrant and mineral, with delicate notes of citrus, white flowers and oyster shell. It’s a natural match for seafood, sushi, or a refined fish carpaccio. The wine evolves beautifully with age, developing nuances of honey, almond and ripe stone fruits.

The Bourgogne Blanc, also made from Chardonnay, offers a rounder profile with aromas of pear, apple, and white blossom. It pairs well with soft cheeses, poultry in creamy sauces, or as an elegant aperitif.

For red wine lovers, the Bourgogne Rouge crafted from Pinot Noir delivers vibrant red fruit flavors with hints of spice, silky tannins and a refined finish—perfect with grilled meats, Italian cuisine or roasted duck.
