Since 1834, Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been a pillar of fine winemaking in the Rhône Valley. Founded by Antoine Jaboulet, the estate quickly earned a prestigious reputation thanks to its commitment to terroir, precision, and craftsmanship. Over generations, the house has maintained this legacy with an uncompromising dedication to quality.
In 2006, the Frey family acquired the estate, ushering in a new era under the leadership of Caroline Frey, a gifted oenologist. Her vision blends scientific precision with sustainable practices. Jaboulet now cultivates its 100 hectares of vineyards through organic and biodynamic methods, preserving the health of the land and enhancing the purity of its wines.
From the legendary slopes of Hermitage to Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, and Condrieu, each appellation showcases Jaboulet’s savoir-faire. The wines are matured in the renowned Vineum cellar, carved into the rock, providing the ideal environment for aging and refinement.
The estate's flagship wine, Hermitage La Chapelle, is considered one of the finest Rhône wines in the world. Known for its richness and aging potential, it embodies the very soul of the Hermitage terroir. Alongside it, cuvées like Les Jalets from Crozes-Hermitage, Les Grandes Terrasses from Cornas, and La Grande Pompée from Saint-Joseph highlight the diversity of the estate’s vineyard holdings.
White wine lovers will be captivated by Condrieu Les Cassines, a stunning expression of Viognier with aromas of apricot and acacia. For everyday enjoyment, the Parallèle 45 wines (red and white) offer great value and an authentic taste of Rhône character.
All these exceptional wines are available on 12bouteilles, the specialist online shop for premium wines. With fast delivery, careful packaging, and expert advice, wine enthusiasts can explore the full universe of Paul Jaboulet Aîné with confidence.
