Located near Valladolid in the Duero Valley, Abadia Retuerta bears witness to a long history dating back to the Count of Castile.
Dedicated always to the discontinuity in the vineyard. Currently nearly 500 of the 700 hectares that make up the property are covered with woods and reforested forests of indigenous varieties.

Produced from the selection of the best grapes from each of the Clos, it combines the richness of Tempranillo, the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon and the roundness of Merlot. “Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial 2001”, recognized as the best red wine in the world, is a very balanced, harmonious wine, which presents an incredible aromatic richness.
In the middle of the estate, the Hotel Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine, opened since March a 12th century monastery, surrounded by vineyards, with a full cultural, wine and gastronomic offer in the heart of the Duero Valley. It is a benchmark for top category wine tourism in the region. The Abadía restaurant is Michelin-starred under the direction of chefs Andoni Luis Aduriz and Pablo Montero.
