Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -This 2018 Vieux Chateau Certan, Pomerol is a wine with depth and subtlety of flavor that gives it an inimitable style and finesse.
Color: medium to deep garnet purple - it has a very vibrant color.
Nose: wonderfully intense and beautifully delimited scents of red roses, black raspberries, kirsch and Darjeeling tea before powerful and deep black fruits
Taste: Full-bodied, rich, it reveals notes of red and black fruits with an incredible floral and spicy range. Very nice, very ripe, incredibly fine, velvety tannins and fantastic freshness. The finish is almost endless. Unbelievable !
The Vieux Chateau Certan estate, with an area of 14 hectares, has been owned by the Thienpont family for over a century. The vineyard is made up of merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon.
12bouteilles advice: Enjoy it with a suckling lamb from Pauillac with ceps stuffed in the Bordeaux style. Serve around 15°C -18°C
