Provence - Côtes de Provence - White Wine -This Domaine de L'Île 2023 White is adorned with a brilliant pale yellow and gold color. On the nose, we find elegance, scents of citrus fruits, sarsaparilla flowers, saline notes and fresh pear. On the palate we find a nice attack with a lemony, fat finish, with aromas of dried fruits and honey.
This wine is made at 100% with rolle.
The grapes are hand-picked and delicately vinified, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve their freshness and precision.
The white wines, made from 100% rolle grapes, have a southern flavour while retaining their island, saline and mineral identity.
Domaine de L'Ile is located in Porquerolles. It has been certified organic since 2015 and bought by Chanel in 2019.
Today, the Domaine de l'Ile covers an area of 32,3 hectares. It is planted with traditional Mediterranean grape varieties of high quality (Rolle for the white wine, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault et Tibouren for the rosé). The Domaine produce about 150.000 bottles of Côtes de Provence.
The advice of 12bouteilles : Serve chilled at 10-12°C and enjoy with fish, grilled meat or as an aperitif to make the most of this magnificent white from Provence.
