Burgundy - Chablis - Grand Cru - White Wine -Chablis Grand Cru Bougros 2021 is a sublime dry white wine produced on the western side of the Grand Cru hillside with vineyards facing south and benefiting from a clement situation where the hours of sunshine are intense. This wine is a monocépage composed of Chardonnay (100%)
The year 2021 was a complicated year with very specific climatic conditions due to the big frost in April. Despite this, the winegrowers were able to make the most of their production by putting more effort into the vinification.
The result is even surprising, contrary to what was announced, with a perfectly balanced vintage accompanied by the legendary minerality that represents the great years at Chablis.
Tasting notes : CHABLIS GRAND CRU BOUGROS 21
Colour: reveals a very pretty brilliant yellow colour with light silver highlights.
The nose: is pleasantly elegant, very fruity with rich flavours of yellow plums and peaches. One can also feel the great finesse around the white flower aromas mixed with citrus notes.
The palate: magnificent balance between fatness, acidity and minerality with greedy notes of almonds.
The 12bouteilles advice: Serve chilled at 10°C/12°C, it will be the perfect accompaniment to fine fish, seafood, white meat or mature goat's cheese.
Domaine Guguen was founded in 2013 by two enthusiasts, Céline & Fréderic Gueguen, from winegrowing families. These two lovers of the terroir, decided to fly on their own wings where they now lead a 36 hectare estate located in the heart of the Chablis vineyard where 5 grape varieties are worked: Chardonnay, Aligoté, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon and Sacy.
