Louis Latour : Aloxe Corton Premier Cru "Les Chaillots" 2010
Burgundy - Aloxe-Corton - 1er Cru - Red Wine -The birthplace of the Latour family, which controls 15% of the Aloxe-Corton appellation, the Maison Louis Latour has several Premiers Crus, including the famous Château and the Corton-Grancey Vat. The name "Les Chaillots" refers to the stony ground of this vineyard. The wines of Aloxe-Corton are the marriage of the finesse of the wines of the Côte de Beaune and the powerful velvety of those of the Côte de Nuits.
The 2010 vintage of this Aloxe Corton "Les Chaillots" red has a beautiful garnet red color. The nose develops aromas of red fruits, vanilla, licorice and undergrowth. The mouth is greedy, charming with an elegant finish. The tannins are still present but well melted.
Suggested culmination: 2015-2025
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will go perfectly with red and white meats, poultry. A lot of finesse on a leg of lamb. Serve chilled around 15 °C.
