Magnum - Chassagne Montrachet 2014 Louis Latour
Burgundy - Chassagne Montrachet - Village - Red Wine -Ce Magnum of Chassagne-Montrachet Red 2014 from Louis Latour reveals a very pretty ruby color. Complex aromas blend and give an aromatic and spicy nose: liquorice, vanilla, undergrowth and black fruits. The palate is round and fresh, the tannins are supple, enhanced by blackcurrant and cherry notes.
Raised for 12 months in a barrel Chassagne Montrachet is a great wine to which a large bottle goes so well ...
Chassagne-Montrachet and its neighbor Puligny are famous for their Grands Crus, the most famous being Montrachet. But in the shadow of these white Grands Crus, Chassagne-Montrachet also produces remarkable reds on its clay soil with ferric inclusions. These wines have body and their structure is reminiscent of the reds of the Côte de Nuits.
12bouteilles Tip : A great Burgundy perfect to accompany a filet mignon of veal or a plate of ripened cheeses. Remember to open it 2 hours before, it will be perfect to accompany your dishes.
