Aligoté or (Aligot) is a grape variety rare in Burgundy where plots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay dominate. Grown on a plot of 62 hectares, yields are deliberately low to allow the grapes to reveal the nuances of each terroir.
Bourgogne Aligoté 2017 is adorned with a pale yellow color with green highlights. The nose has aromas of fresh, slightly acidic grapes. A lot of freshness in the mouth and sometimes a pleasant note of flint. A nice balance between vivacity and softness.
The 2017 vintage expresses all the elegance of the grape variety. The wines are very balanced, round and floral with hints of citrus.
