Domaine Stéphane Ogier, La Belle Helene 2019

Rhone Valley - Côte-Rôtie - Red Wine -

La Belle Hélène 2019 is part of Stéphane Ogier's Côte-Rôtie Parcellaires. True treasures of the estate, these cuvées (La Belle Hélène, La Côte Blonde, Le Lancement) symbolize the excellence of the Brune and Blonde terroirs, power and emotion intermingle in these exceptional wines, with finesse and poetry.
This powerful Beauty possesses a Saturated Purple color. A nice nose of crème de cassis, smoked meats and crushed rock. A perfectly integrated voice, a struite and an impressive finish, this is an absolutely magical wine.

About Belle Hélène : Produced at only 2,200 bottles / 102 magnums / 10 jéroboams, 100% Syrah on a plot planted in 1958, located on the Brune coast more precisely on the Lieu-dit “Côte-Rozier”. The cuvée, 100% whole harvest, is aged for 20 months in oak barrels.

The advice of 12bouteilles : To keep at least 5-6 years, this bottle has decades in front of it ... a magical wine which will know how to reward patience!

Among the wines of Stéphane Ogier, you can also like his Côte du Rhône "le temps est venu", his Saint Joseph "le Passage", in Côte-Rotie "Mon village" and "la Belle Hélène", his white wine in Condrieu "la combe de Malleval" and in the Mediterranean IGP "la Rosine"
