Boris Champy : Hautes-Côtes de Beaune "Altitude 399" 2020

Burgundy - Haute Côte de Beaune - Red Wine -

Hautes-Côtes de Beaune "Altitude 399" 2020 is a Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Boris Champy. Produced from a blend of two parcels, "En Bignon" (clay soil on sour limestone) and "Le Clou" (white limestone soil, significant pebbles on yellow marl), we find all the parcel complexity in this wine.

Tasting notes :

The robe: beautiful red colour

The nose: reveals stone-fruit aromas, with hints of cedar and undergrowth

The palate: expressive red and black fruit flavours, with lovely acidity

12Bouteilles' recommendation: enjoy with butcher's cuts, vegetarian tajine with raisins, cow's milk cheeses, etc.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Burgundy, Domaine Boris Champy is an iconic wine estate that embodies the very essence of the art of winemaking. Since its foundation, this family-run estate has earned an enviable reputation for producing wines of exceptional quality. The vineyards extend over hectares of privileged terroir, benefiting from a unique microclimate and mineral-rich soil, allowing the grapes to ripen elegantly and develop subtle aromas.
