Rhone Valley - Saint-Joseph - Red Wine -The Saint Joseph François de Tournon in the 2021 vintage is a great wine from Maison Delas. It is a signature wine of the house in the heart of one of the southern appellations of the Rhone Valley.
In the eye, the dress is dark ruby. On the nose, this wine is marked by delicate aromas of cassis and spices. The vintage "François de Tournon" reveals a soft and velvety material with however a very good tannic structure, fine and silky, guaranteeing a good aging potential.
This wine is made from grapes coming from the terroirs of Vion, Saint Jean de Muzols, Mauves and Tournon. The wines are all exclusively Syrah, whose plots are selected by the house and manually harvested terroir by terroir at optimal maturity. The vatting lasts approximately 20 days with manual pigeages and pumping over. The breeding is conducted for 10 to 14 months in oak barrels from 0 to 3 years old. In order to preserve freshness and fruit, part of the wine is aged in 85Hl concrete vats.
