Ligne de Crête 2018 is the first opus for this cuvée produced by Maison Delas ... absolutely exceptional! A rare wine that embodies all the elegance and nobility sought by the house, for a total production of between 1,800 and 2,000 bottles, in fine years. The parcel of this 100% Syrah is located on the summit of Hermitage at an altitude of around 325 meters.
Tasting notes:
The robe: dense, dark red
The nose: light notes of spice and leather mingle with fine aromas of dark berries (blueberry, black raspberry) and liquorice
The palate: a rich, dense attack. Ripe, mellow, well-integrated tannins contribute to a powerful, well-balanced structure
12Bouteilles' suggestion: Red or medium-rare meats, game, marinated meats, spicy stews. Remember to open the bottle one to three hours before tasting.
