The robe: deep, brilliant, dark red.
The nose: of great breed, exhaling sweet black fruit and violet.
The palate: Extremely concentrated fruitiness, particularly dense, rich tannic structure and perfect balance.
This 100% Syrah comes exclusively from the oldest plot located on the lieu-dit "Les Bessards" in the heart of the Hermitage hillside. This is a rare cuvée that produces a maximum of 8,000 bottles a year, and only in great vintages.
12Bouteilles' suggestion: Red or medium-rare meats, game, marinated meats, spicy stews. We recommend opening the bottle one to three hours before drinking. This cuvée needs at least three years to develop its full complexity. After that, decanting is highly recommended.
