"Clos des Fées" is the signature vintage of the Domaine du Clos des Fées, made in AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages by Hervé Bizeul.

This great Languedoc wine is a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache blanc, 15% Carignan and 10% Mourvèdre, the 2019 vintage of "Clos des Fées"

2019 is a superb vintage for the Languedoc region, both powerful and full of fruit.  

Tasting notes: 

The Robe: deep red with purple highlights

The Nose: aromatic of red fruits, with fine notes of spices and vanilla 

The palate: greedy, ample, with matter, a sublime tannic structure (both silky and velvety), with an impressive length. 

The advice of 12Bouteilles: Delicious the year after bottling, if you like young and powerful wines and if you take care to decant it beforehand. It gradually acquires its mature character while retaining its fruit (Potential for aging 8 to 15 years). Be sure to decant it absolutely at least 2 hours before and to serve it between 16°C and 18°C. 

This very great Languedoc wine will sublimate a duck breast, a game or a red meat piece.
