Louis Latour : Puligny-Montrachet "Sous le Puits" 2013, Premier Cru

The vineyard of Louis Latour in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation "sous le puits" is a hillside vineyard facing south-east. The climate "Under the Well" is located at the top of Blagny Hill, emblematic terroir of Chardonnays, probably the largest in the world.
The wine is vinified in oak barrels for 8 to 10 months before bottling.
This Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Sous Le Puits" 2013 is a delicate Chardonnay with a pale yellow color. Its intense nose delivers floral and vanilla scents. On the palate, this 2013 vintage is round, with notes of almond paste and a mineral and persistent finish.
Suggested culmination: 2015-2023
The 2016 Bettane & Desseauve Guide awarded this Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Sous le Puits" 2013 the score of 17/20: "Delicate, tender finesse, delicate dimension, subtle and fine wine."
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will perfectly accompany a good foie gras but also a fatty fish like salmon. Serve chilled around 12 °
