Joseph Drouhin : Beaune Clos des Mouches 2014
Burgundy - Beaune - 1er Cru - Red Wine -The Joseph Drouhin Beaune Clos des Mouches 2014 is an exceptional wine, unique, an incredible Burgundy wine!
The Clos des Mouches is a tiny parcel between Beaune and Pommard which is shared by some big Burgundy owners who have some rows of vines some of which belong to the Drouhin family. This small plot of 6.75 hectares certainly produces one of the best and mythical wines of the house Drouhin. It takes its name from an old age, the clos sheltered many beehives and the bees were called Flies to honey.
This wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes is grown biodynamically, using only natural products!
We find in this wine a dress of a deep ruby, its nose, both intense and fresh in the early years is accompanied by notes of red fruits and liquorice. In the mouth, a frank attack, dense but without heaviness, balance and silky tannins will develop with age.
The Clos des Mouches 2014 is a perfect wine to keep in its cellar for several decades, but you can already enjoy it.
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will be perfect served with gratin, poultry or dry pasta cheeses. To serve at a temperature of 16 °.
