Famille Perrin : Vinsobres "Les Cornuds" 2019
Rhone Valley - Vinsobres - Red Wine -The Vinsobres "Les Cornuds" 2019 is a red wine from the Rhone Valley produced by the famous Famille Perrin, owner of the sublime Château de Beaucastel. The most northerly vineyard in the Southern Rhône, Famille Perrin owns some 60 hectares in Vinsobres, all in one piece of terraces and hillsides. Located 20 kilometers north of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, at an altitude of 300 meters, the magnificent terroir of Vinsobres is particularly suited to the production of Syrah. The variety retains its finesse and develops aromas of violets, smoked meat, pencil lead and blackberry. Grenache is also grown here wonderfully, full and without heaviness, it develops aromas of dark chocolate, cherry and garrigue.

The palate: complex, balanced, fresh, long finish on fresh fruit
The years in 9 regularly mark the memory of the winegrowers of the Rhone Valley and this one seems to be no exception to the rule. After an early budburst at the beginning of April, the flowering was progressive and took place in good conditions in all the vineyards. Then a hot summer began at the end of June, which the vines resisted valiantly. Finally, the harvest took place as usual, without any particular precocity. The wines are full of promise for a vintage in 9 born, once again, under a lucky star.
The 12Bouteilles advice: Open and serve this Vinsobres "Les Cornuds" 2019 between 16°C and 18°C, which will be the perfect accompaniment to a red meat.
