Produced by the Perrin family, one of the major players in the French wine world, Château de Beaucastel 2019 - Hommage à Jacques Perrin is a wine of rare quality with fantastic acidity and balance. 2019 was a year with hot and dry conditions which made this vintage a great vintage in Homage to Jacques Perrin.
This 2019 vintage comes from a complex blend: 10% Grenache, 75% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 5% Counoise, 5% Cinsault and 10% of a blend of Vaccarèse, Terret Noir, Muscardin, Clairette, Picpoul, Picardan , Bourboulenc and Roussanne. Since the 1960s, the thirteen grape varieties of the appellation have been cultivated organically.
Tasting note:
The dress: Deep red almost black.
The nose: powerful, elegance, and complex, the nose reveals a rich aromatic mixing black fruits and spices
The palate: fresh, dense and subtle, perfectly balanced and of incredible length
The advice of 12bouteilles: This very beautiful vintage of Château de Beaucastel will be able to stay in the cellar for 10 years or more! Decant it if possible before serving around 15 ° C.
