E.Guigal : La Turque Côte Brune 2011
Rhone Valley - Côte-Rôtie - Red Wine -La Turque 2011, Côte Brune is one of E.Guigal's emblematic cuvées. This estate, probably the most famous in the Rhone Valley, produces La Turque in a fabulous Côte-Rôtie appellation vineyard.
Made from vines of about 20 years of age, for a blend of 93% Syrah, 7% Viognier, this 2011 vintage marries wonderfully power and elegance.
La Turque 2011 is adorned with a ruby color with dark reflections. Its nose is an intense and powerful bouquet of sour cherry, blackberry and red berries. On the palate, the attack is supple and harmonious with fine tannins with aromas of red fruits. An affirmed expression of the terroir, subtle and feminine.
The advice of 12bouteilles: The Turkish 2011 is delicious now or to keep a few years in cellar (up to 20 years). Serve it around 16-18 ° C with a cream bunny for a perfect match.
