Rhone Valley - Ventoux - Red Wine -Domaine de Fondrèche Persia Rouge 2020 is one of the great cuvée of the Domaine de Fondrèche, the reference for AOC Ventoux wines.
This wine is produced from the oldest vines of the domain and on the most beautiful terroirs. This rigorous selection of parcels is a true revelation of the potential of the domain.
Tasting notes of Domaine de Fondrèche Persia 2020 red :
Dark color with violet reflections, a nose of crème de cassis, violet, graphite and light woody notes.
The palate is full, rich and fleshy with elegant tannins.
A complete and racy wine
The Fondrèche plateau is made up of ancient alluvial deposits. The soil is very stony (rolled pebbles, flint and crystalline) and chalky from the surface with a sandy-clay texture.
The Domaine de Fondrèche Persia Rouge 2020 is a blend of 90% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre for an average age of the vines of about forty years
The traditional vinification is done in vats with only a few small punchings down to promote a slow and progressive extraction.
The maturing is done in ovoid vats, barrels and tuns to give fine and fruity wines. The bottling respects the cycles of Biodynamics, it is always carried out in fruit day of the phase of the moon to offer fruity and balanced wines.
