Domaine de Chevalier 2016 White
The Domaine de Chevalier is an emblematic and very old domain of the Pessac Léognan appellation, Grands Crus Classés de Bordeaux. Located in Léognan, the property of Olivier Bernard covers 45 hectares of vines, 40 hectares of red vines and 5 hectares of white vines in the capital of Graves. Made from a blend of 75% Sauvignon and 25% Semillon grapes, this 2016 vintage has already been very well received by oenology professionals.
This 2016 vintage has a pale, bright, yellow color with light green hues. Its nose is a complex bouquet of white flowers with exotic fruit scents and a nice minerality. On the palate, this scoop is fresh, well balanced with nice notes of pumpkin and ginger. The palate offers crisp acidity and light woody flavors. A 2016 Primeur that delivers already a beautiful power and a magnificent length.
Domaine de Chevalier 2016 is a real pleasure taste, fresh and tasty, simply delicious!
The Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is a remarkable aging wine, recognized as one of the greatest dry white wines in the world, and this 2016 vintage is at the height of its predecessors.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Carafe it 1 to 2 hours before tasting and serve chilled (12-14 ° C), it will go wonderfully with a baked fish.
«The 2016 vintage: Historic and generous! - Olivier Bernard, Owner.
