Mendoza - Red Wine -This Clos de Los Siete 2020 is a great red wine produced by Michel Rolland south of the town of Mendoza.
Blend : 5% Malbec, %61 Merlot, %51 Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Syrah, %3 Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
The vines grow on sandy-clay soils, with a significant presence of pebbles. This is a very expressive wine with excellent ageing potential.
Aging: 11 months, 70% in barrels (100% French oak: 1/3 new wood; 1/3 one-year-old wood; 1/3 two-year-old wood) and 30% in vats. The wines are neither filtered nor fined.
The extraordinary terroir of Clos de los Siete, with sandy-clay soils complemented by a good density of pebbles and draining soils, has the particularity of restraining the growth of the vines and ensuring perfect ripeness.

The color: deep ruby red
The nose: aromas of black fruit and plum combined with delicate floral notes.
The palate: both powerful and pleasant, with good length on elegant, silky tannins.
