To the eye, the color is an intense red with violet highlights
On the nose, black fruits such as blackberry and cherry emerge, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is greedy, well-fruited, combined with good length with lots of freshness. the finish is elegant with silky tannins.

Since Alexandre de Mallet took over from his father Léo, the wines have progressed considerably in terms of quality. In fact, the vintage's tasting notes are excellent, all above 96. Wine advocate gave a score of 96-98/100.
The blend of the 2020 vintage is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc.
The wine is aged 60% in new barrels for 15 months.
