Castille y Leon - Ribera del Douero - Red Wine -La Fleur VivaltuS 2018 is the third vintage vinified by Vivaltu, a great Ribera del Duero wine. The VivaltuS project consists of something completely new in Ribera del Duero; a different wine, elegant and fresh, hedonistic and long-lasting, highlighting the terroirs, landscapes and complexity of the vineyards in every bottle.
Wine crafted by their winemaker Montxo Martínez with the expertise of Jean-Claude Berrouet (Petrus) acting as close consultant oenologist. This Fleur VivaltuS 2018 represents a great qualitative leap forward in the VivaltuS project thanks to the optimal conditions of the vintage and the precise work of Jean Claude and his son Jeff Berrouet during the final blending.
Tasting notes - La Fleur VivaltuS 2018
Explosive nose, with a strong presence of red and black fruits and some floral notes. Spicy, balsamic notes (undergrowth, thyme, rosemary...) embellish this fruit of exceptional quality. On the palate, there's plenty of freshness and tension, a silky-smooth, highly complex wine, with magnificent acidity and a freshness that invites us to take another sip. Long, elegant and balanced finish. An Atlantic vintage reflected in the freshness and fruitiness of this wine.
