Paul Jaboulet Ainé - Châteauneuf du Pape, Domaine de Terre Ferme 2012
Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red Wine -Domaine de Terre Ferme 2012 is a great wine produced by the house Paul Jaboulet Ainé, and appellation Chateauneuf du Pape, the most famous of the southern part and the most famous in the world.
Blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, this Domaine de Terre Ferme is made from 80-year-old vines grown in southern soil in a very stony soil, which allows to obtain wines finer and large.
This 2012 vintage is adorned with a deep ruby color.
The nose has gourmet aromas of ripe red berries, lavender and sweet spices accompanied by mineral notes and citrus zest.
On the palate, the attack is precise and energetic, with juicy black cherries and raspberry flavors. The finish is long, both sweet and spicy, with subtle tannins bringing a lot of relief to this wine.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This Châteauneuf du Pape 2012 has a good aging potential, and can wait up to 20 years in the cellar. Serve at a temperature of about 16 ° C with a roasted squab with garlic confit.
