Produced by the Drouhin Family, RoseRock Chardonnay 2015 is grown on an extraordinary vineyard at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills in the Oregon Valley in the United States. The ancient volcanic soils and the unique cooling effect of the Van Duzer Corridor, features classic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Roserock vineyard is certified "LIVE durable".
Roserock Chardonnay brings together the three parcels of Chardonnay from the estate, whose grapes are selected and sorted by hand. The Chardonnay is pressed immediately sent to the tank and barrel. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, Véronique Drouhin gathers the two portions in her final batch.
With a beautiful bright yellow robe, Roserock Chardonnay 2015 releases fresh aromas of apple, honey, white onions and a touch of hazelnut. On the palate, thorny and round, with notes of citrus pie, white peaches, almonds and spices with a delicious combination of minerality and richness. The final is long.
The 12bouteilles tip: Ready to drink, you can enjoy Roserock Chardonnay 2015 until 2020. To serve chilled, around 12 ° C, it will be delicious to accompany shellfish.
