E.Guigal : Vignes de l'Hospice Saint Joseph 2016

Rhone Valley - Saint-Joseph - Red Wine -

Les Vignes de l'Hospice 2016 vintage is a great red wine from the Saint-Joseph appellation, produced by E.Guigal, famous Rhône winery.

Located on the most impressive and exclusive slope of the Saint-joseph appellation, this 100% Syrah varietal wine is made from vines aged between 20 and 80 years old and is a perfect illustration of the finesse and power of its appellation.

In a beautiful dark red color, the Vignes de l'Hospice 2016 expresses a nose, at once, powerful, intense and complex dominated by black fruits and delicate aromas of new wood. In the mouth, attack and powerful. The tannins are fine and elegant but very present.

Coming from a geological formation similar to the famous Bessards hill in Hermitage, this Saint-Joseph has the delicacy of its Appellation and the power of its neighbor in front of the river.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Of a good potential of guard, of approximately 10 years, the vignes de l'Hospice goes perfectly with the red meats, the game and the cheeses.
