Domaine Sylvain Pataille's Bourgogne Aligoté Blanc Charme aux Prêtres 2021 comes from vines planted in 1949 in the locality of the same name, now known as Les Rosey. However, the old name, La Charme Aux Prêtres, reflects the history of the site, suggesting that it would have been owned by the Church. A marvel on the nose, Aligoté reveals its full potential with a floral minerality reminiscent of the charming villages of the Côte de Beaune.

Colour: this cuvée reveals a sublime deep gold colour.
Nose: The bouquet is delicately pure, revealing aromas of white flowers combined with citrus and mineral notes.
Palate: On tasting, the wine reveals all its complexity, dynamic, stimulating and marked by an assertive minerality. The finish, tinged with citrus notes, stretches delicately, leaving a subtle hint of honey in the background.
The 12bouteilles advice : To enjoy this parcel-based cuvée, we recommend drinking it at a temperature of 11-12°C. It goes perfectly with lightly snacked scallops, flambéed in London Dry, accompanied by a leek fondue with tarragon and lemon. If you choose to drink it young, we recommend decanting it to allow the wine to breathe and reveal its full aromas.

The story of Domaine Sylvain Pataille is the story of a man who has been passionate about the world of wine since his youth. As a consultant oenologist, Sylvain Pataille took the decision in 1999 to lease a hectare of vines, with the ambition of creating Burgundy wines that express the potential and nuances of the Marsannay appellation with elegance and authenticity.
Between 2000 and 2011, the estate's surface area grew from 2 to 4 hectares, marking the permanent installation of Sylvain Pataille at the estate in 2011. The estate then grew to 10 hectares in 2002. Today, Domaine Sylvain Pataille oversees a 17-hectare vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 2008 under Ecocert certification.
Sylvain attaches great importance to maturing the wines in oak barrels and ensuring they are of the highest possible quality. The top-of-the-range wines are distinguished by their exceptional freshness, finesse and elegance.
