Burgundy - Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits - Red Wine -This Hautes Côtes de Nuits "La Poirelotte" is a wine produced by the Domaine Laurent Roumier, in the appellation Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits. This wine comes from two hectares of vines planted in a place called "La Poirelotte". The soil is clay and limestone, at an altitude of 350m, with an east-facing, slightly sloping exposure. Laurent Roumier is the only producer of Hautes-Côtes in the commune of Chambolle.

The Robe: garnet
Nose: notes of red fruits, smoke and flowers (peony)
The palate: rich, fine, silky, structured with beautiful acidity and round tannins
The advice of 12bouteilles: This wine can be drunk young and kept for about 5 to 10 years. To be served at a temperature of 15°C, it will perfectly accompany poultry, delicatessen and cheeses.
The Laurent Roumier Estate, located in Chambolle-Musigny, is part of the famous George Roumier estate, founded in 1924. Today Laurent Roumier, cousin of Christophe Roumier who runs the Domaine George Roumier, owns a dozen hectares of vines with an average age of 35 years and cultivated in a reasoned manner. The vineyard extends over different appellations of Burgundy: Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny, Bonnes-Mares and Clos Vougeot. The latter applies a traditional vinification in order to sublimate each grape variety and to highlight the richness of the terroirs of the domain.
