This Santenay 1er Cru "Beauregard" 2021 is a red wine produced by Domaine Justin Girardin. Made from old vines of about 45 years old, this 100% Pinot Noir is located in the north-east of the village of Santenay near the windmill known as "Moulin Sorine", the parcel is in the continuity of the terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet. On the heights of the hillside, the soil is quite thin and therefore has excellent hydric conditions, which gives wines a lot of elegance and finesse in the aromatic structure.

The palate: delicately woody bringing a beautiful structure

Present in Burgundy since 1570, Justin Girardin represents today the 13th generation at the head of the family estate of 17 hectares, from Santenay to Savigny-Les-Beaune. Each parcel produces a different wine with its own identity. Vigilant to the well-being of his vines, Justin and his teams work in Biodynamics, and intervene only in good time for the maintenance of the vineyard in the logic of healthy agriculture and always more respectful of its environment. 

The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served between 16°C and 18°C, it will perfectly accompany a beef fillet, beau and poultry as well as semi-aged cheeses. It can be enjoyed now and has a potential of 5 to 6 years of keeping.
