Rhone Valley - Condrieu - White Wine -The Georges Vernay estate is located on the upper slopes of the village of Condrieu. The soil is worked in the traditional way with organic farming. This typical wine is 100% viognier and is produced on 4.5 hectares of granite terraces. After ripening, the grapes are directly pressed. A small part is aged in barrels and the rest is aged in stainless steel barrels.
"Le Terrasses de l'Empire" 2020 vintage is a 100% organic Viognier white wine. It has a golden color, its nose opens up with a bouquet of white peach, candied citrus fruit and bitter orange aromas. This white wine has a rich and round taste and is known for its beautiful minerals and freshness. A typical fruit wine with unequalled aromas of white peach, apricot and white almond, and delicate flesh. It is an elegant, harmonious and fresh wine.
The advice for 12 bottles : Serve chilled at 14°-16°C. A wine which will be perfect as an aperitif or with fish dishes.
