White Wine -This Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2021 is a lovely New Zealand Chardonnay produced by Cloudy Bay. Balance and harmony, vineyards planted in the stony soils of the Wairau Valley and the dense clay of the southern valleys combine to create a wine that marries ripe stone fruit with citrus elegance. The main vineyards are Barracks, Motukawa, Estate, Mustang and Brook Street.

The robe: limpid yellow
The nose: open and attractive, with notes of white peach, apricot and ripe citrus fruit
The palate: a touch of ripe lemon refreshes the intense palate of yellow stone fruit, framed by mouth-watering saline acidity. Gentle notes of toast add a savoury touch to the succulent fruit, ensuring a more savoury balance.
The advice of 12Bouteilles: Serve between 10 and 12°C, it pairs naturally with almost anything, but especially with seafood and other bright or creamy flavours. Try it with a Caprese salad, soft cow cheeses, cream sauces or anything smoky or grilled.
