This 2016 vintage is a blend of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot, Cabernet Franc proves its ability to express itself on the great chalky soils.

The nose expresses aromas of ripe red fruit, with delicate notes of red peppers and black fruits

Elegant and silky on the palate, it is an impressive wine with a long finish.

More on finesse and length than on power, "Un faune avec son fifre sous les oliviers" is a delicious classic.

Note that the label changes slightly each year as the Faune ages.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Be sure to serve this red between 16 ° C and 18 ° C, this 2015 vintage marries wonderfully with a rib of beef or a roast pigeon.
