This 2008 vintage "La Tyre" plot cuvée from Château Montus is 100% Tannat.
It is a rich, deep wine with great complexity and opulence.
The La Tyre vintage comes from a 10 hectares plot located on the highest hillside of the Madiran appellation at an altitude of 260 meters. Only the finest grapes picked by hand from this plot constitute this vintage.
Regularly cited alongside the greatest wines, La Tyre is an exceptional Madiran.
Le conseil de 12bouteilles: Delicious to drink, take care to decant it. It gradually acquires its mature characteristics while retaining its fruit. Be sure to decant it for at least 4 hours, before serving it between 16°C and 18°C. This red goes wonderfully with duck, game and red meats.
