It is the second wine of Château Gruaud Larose vinified to be accessible from the bottling.
The wine is balanced with light tannins, a nice freshness and crunchy fruits.
To the eye, the dress is an intense red color with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrant, cherry, then woody and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is frank, very fruity, associated with a nice freshness.
Blend :72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc et 8% Petit Verdot
Ageing : 15% in new barrels, the rest in barrels of 1 and 2 years, for 12 months
The advice of 12bouteilles : Decant the bottle at least 2 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
